My name is Xiao Ting, and I hail from China. I am the founder and sole creator of BellaLeighCreations.

From a young age, I was deeply inspired by my grandfather's calligraphy and musical instruments, fostering a profound appreciation for the beauty that exists in the world around us. This love led me to painting, capturing the fleeting moments of beauty and infusing my work with my own imaginative interpretations of aesthetic splendor. I owe a great debt of gratitude to my grandparents; their influence on my life and artistic journey has been immeasurable.

However, life is a series of farewells. As I approached the end of my university studies, my beloved grandparents passed away due to illness, leaving a void in my artistic world and robbing my creations of their once joyful and motivating force.

After graduation, the pressures of life and the need for financial stability led me to a career in programming. The grueling schedule, often involving overnight shifts and weekend work, left me physically and emotionally drained, causing me to set aside my creative pursuits and leaving a void in my life.

Three years into this dedicated work, I faced a personal nadir when a serious illness required surgery. Post-operation, I found myself fearful of the night, plagued by insomnia, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. Doctors assured me that my physical health had recovered, and it dawned on me that my mental well-being was suffering. I felt lost and without purpose for a time.

A friend, a cosplay enthusiast, encouraged me to find joy in life. She reminded me of the happiness found in immersing oneself in one's passions. Inspired by her words, I left my job and returned to my hometown in Hunan, seeking to rediscover my own joy. Daily observations of farmers tending their fields, the bustle of local markets, the gentle flow of streams, and the sounds of birds singing and monks chanting in temples cleansed my soul.

While browsing online, I stumbled upon a live stream featuring an array of stones. I was captivated by the beauty and gifts of nature, particularly the Labradorite and crystals. The unique quality of Labradorite, revealing different beauties with the shifting angles of sunlight, resonated with me as a metaphor for life's multifaceted beauty, even in the darkest moments.

The beauty of these stones compelled me to wear them without drilling holes, leading me to try wire wrapping for the first time. In the process of creating these pieces, I found myself in a state of flow and experienced a sense of healing. It was as if I had found my life's purpose—to leave a mark on the world with my creations.

The name BellaLeighCreations is inspired by my favorite movie, "Twilight." I am drawn to the dangerous yet enchanting world it portrays, much like Labradorite, which is both fragile and beautiful, capable of transporting the soul to another wondrous realm.

My mission is to find a home for each beautiful and unique stone and crystal, to amplify their beauty through wire wrapping, and to hope that they bring joy and healing to those who wear them, reflecting their distinctive personalities and spirits.
